Introduction/About me
*WELCOME TO DIRECT SHIFT*
My name is Thomas Chan and I am the host of this site. I have been an automobile enthuisast since I was a kid. I practically learned my alphabets from license plates and identified a car as “Mazda” at my kindergarten entrance test.
My 1st car was a 97 Toyota RAV4, then followed by a 99 VW Jetta and I currently own an 03 Audi A4.
I started writing reviews on the internet in 2000. The article was entitied “A4 vs competitions”, then I went on to write reviews for VWVortex in 2001. Given those reviews have earned good reputation over the years, I decided to open my own webpage.
